If a Font Style has been applied in a parent block, it will be inherited unless otherwise specified on the selected block.

The Font Style property defines how slanted a text should be. It is basically an Italic option.

Normal The text is normal and not slanted.

Italic Uses the italic version of the font (if it exists). The letters are slightly slanted.

  • Select a block.

  • Open the Block Inspector.

  • Navigate to the Primary or Design Tab.

  • Open the Typography Tab.

  • Find the Style property.

  • Select the desired style option (Normal, Italic).

  • Click on the selected style option to unselect it.
