# Style

{% hint style="info" %}
If a Font Style has been applied in a parent block, it will be inherited unless otherwise specified on the selected block.
{% endhint %}

The Font Style property defines how slanted a text should be. It is basically an Italic option.

***Normal*** The text is normal and not slanted.

***Italic*** Uses the italic version of the font (if it exists). The letters are slightly slanted.

* Select a block.
* Open the Block Inspector.
* Navigate to the Primary or Design Tab.
* Open the Typography Tab.
* Find the Style property.
* Select the desired style option (Normal, Italic).
* Click on the selected style option to unselect it.
