# Decoration

If a Font Decoration has been applied in a parent block, it will be inherited unless otherwise specified on the selected block.

The Font Style property defines how slanted a text should be. It is basically an Italic option.

***None*** This removes every font decoration applied or inherited (if any). It will appear untouched.

***Underline*** The text is underlined.

***Overline*** The text is overlined.

***Line-Through*** A strikethrough appears on the text.

* Select a block.
* Open the Block Inspector.
* Navigate to the Primary or Design Tab.
* Open the Typography Tab.
* Find the Decoration property.
* Select the desired style option (None, Underline, Overline, Strike-through).
* Click on the selected style option to unselect it.
