# Dynamic Inserter
The dynamic inserter is a feature that allows users to insert dynamic content, such as the current date or the latest posts from a specific category, into their posts or pages.
This can be useful for displaying information that changes frequently, or for creating reusable content blocks that can be inserted into multiple posts or pages.
## Add a Dynamic Tag
The Dynamic Inserter can be used to add dynamic content tags to any field where the Dynamic Inserter is available as well as in the Paragraph and Heading block.
### Add single or multiple dynamic content tags to a Paragraph or Heading

Static content can be added before in between and after the dynamic tag(s).

* Select the Heading or Paragraph block to which you wish to add a dynamic content tag.
* Click the Dynamic Inserter (+) in the Toolbar.
* Select required dynamic data tag in the dropdown.
* And you can add multiple dynamic content tags to a single paragraph or heading block.
### Modify Dynamic Content
Dynamic Content fields can be directly modified by simply clicking on the dynamic field to be modified.
This opens a dropdown where the field type can be changed.
 
### Add a subfield
You can add a subfield to a dynamic data tag.
* Click the dynamic data tag to open the subfield dropdown.
* Select subfield type as required.
### Other cases where the dynamic inserter is available
* Select the field to which you wish to add dynamic content.
* Click the Dynamic Inserter (+) in the Toolbar.
* Select dynamic data type in the dropdown.
### Add or modify a subfield
Sometimes you may wish to add a subfield to a dynamic data tag.
Click the dynamic tag to which you wish to add or modify a subfield.
