# Text Align

If the Text Align property has been applied in a parent block, it will be inherited unless otherwise specified on the selected block.

The Text Align property defines how the text in a block is horizontally aligned.

### Text Align Options

***Left*** The text content is aligned to the left.

***Centre*** The text content is aligned to the centre.

***Right*** The text content is aligned to the right.

***Justify*** The text content is justified.

### Modify

* Select a block.
* Open the Block Inspector.
* Navigate to the Primary Tab or the Design tab.
* Open the Typography Tab.
* Find the Align property.
* Select the desired align option (Left, Center, Right, Justify).
