Show/Hide Blocks
There is always a time when one wants to show or hide a block from a specific type of user. Cwicly allows you to hide blocks depending on static and dynamic conditions and gives users complete control over how they want to manage block visibility.
Cwicly makes it easy to set the requirements for when a blocks is hidden or shown. This is done by using Show/Hide Conditions where a specified Condition is weighed against Data using the Operator of your choice.

Add/Remove a Condition
- Select a block
- Open the block inspector
- Navigate to the primary tab
- Find Show/Hide Block
- Open the Show/Hide settings to reveal the Show/Hide Conditions
- Click Add Condition
- Select a block
- Open the block inspector
- Navigate to the primary tab
- Find Show/Hide Block
- Open the Show/Hide settings to reveal the Show/Hide Conditions
- Click

Condition
The user may select a Condition such as Author, Misc (time, date, cookies, etc.), Post (Post Content, Post ID, Post Category etc.) and User (User ID, User Role etc.).
- Select a block
- Open the block inspector
- Navigate to the primary tab
- Find Show/Hide Block
- Open the Show/Hide settings to reveal the Show/Hide Conditions
- Select the Condition of your choice

Operator
The user may select from a choice of Operators such as equals, doesn't equal, bigger, smaller, bigger or equal etc.
- Select a block
- Open the block inspector
- Navigate to the primary tab
- Find Show/Hide Block
- Open the Show/Hide settings to show the Show/Hide Conditions
- Select the Operator of your choice

Data
The choice of Data depends upon the selected Condition such as month, day of the week, true or false, name etc
- Select a block
- Open the block inspector
- Navigate to the primary tab
- Find Show/Hide Block
- Open the Show/Hide settings to show the Show/Hide Conditions
- Select the Data of your choice

ACF Group
The Group field provides a way to structure fields into groups.

ACF Field
The ACF Field helps you store and retrieve additional information other than the visible content by associating ‘post meta’ data with your pages or posts. This means you can add information like a start date to an event post, or a price to a product post, and then display that information to your website’s users.

Hide Block for logged in users
Hide Block hides a block so it does not appear for users who are logged in
- Select a block
- Open the block inspector
- Navigate to the primary tab
- Find Show/Hide Block
- Open the Show/Hide settings to reveal the Show/Hide Conditions
- Toggle Hide block for logged in users

Hide block for guests
To hide a block so that it does not appear for users who are not logged in.
- Select a block
- Open the block inspector
- Navigate to the primary tab
- Find Show/Hide Block
- Open the Show/Hide settings to reveal the Show/Hide Conditions
- Toggle Hide block for guests.
